Anne Frank Virtual Tour
We are in lockdown all over the world. This means we can’t leave the house for one, two and maybe even three months. But think of Anne Frank and her family, they had to go into hiding for more than 2 years. And that at a time without YouTube, Netflix or game consoles. Under no circumstances could they go outside for their own safety. Join our guide in the Anne Frank Virtual Tour.
What are we going to do?
In this virtual tour, we follow in the footsteps of Anne Frank during her life. We show where Anne was born, where she lived in Amsterdam, how and where she went to school and where she played with her friends.
Based on passages from the famous diary, we will discuss her life in an increasingly unfree Amsterdam and what it meant to be locked up in the Secret Annex for a long time. We will show and tell what inspired Anne and how little things during her lockdown excited her. We also show why so many Jewish people came to Amsterdam over time.
We take you into Anne’s life through unique historical and new video and photos and show beautiful parts of Amsterdam. Using a scale model of the Anne Frank House, we look at how life went. During the Anne Frank Virtual Tour, you can ask questions at any time to find out more.
We would love to hear what inspired you about the story of Anne Frank or your favourite part in her diary.
