Noord-Brabant has 143 museums across 59 towns, and no capital of them.
Where other provinces concentrate everything in one city, Brabant spreads it across three of roughly equal weight: Breda with 12, Eindhoven with 12 and Den Bosch with 11. Tilburg and Helmond add six each. The result is a province you drive rather than walk, with something worth stopping for in most directions.
Fifty-one of the 143 accept the Museumcard. Only two open every day.
Brabant is a driving province. The three main cities are twenty to forty minutes apart, and the village museums that make the region distinctive are rarely near a station. Only two of the 143 open every day, and rural collections often run seasonal or weekend-only hours, so check individual entries below.
We build private days across this province around the museums you actually want to see, with driving, tickets and timing arranged so the day works rather than sprawls.
Plan your tour, or see all our private tours.
This page is part of our complete guide to museums in the Netherlands, covering all 1,167 of them.
