About Barbie House

A dream house for Barbie, the fashion doll launched by Mattel in 1959 that has become one of the best-known toys in the world. Frankey gives her a home on an ordinary Amsterdam street.

Barbie House is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Bartholomeus Ruloffsstraat, in Amsterdam Zuid.

It is one of 99 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Zuid. 27 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.

Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
