About Canal SkyBridge

Canal SkyBridge is Frankey's tongue-in-cheek take on the world's tallest canal bridge, a structure borrowed from the logic of comic books, where realism never gets in the way. Its crooked lines are a wink at the leaning, skewed facades of the old centre. The work was commissioned by Adyen, the Amsterdam-born payments company, and built together with Van Wijnen and 3D Next Level.

Canal SkyBridge is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Adyen-brug, in the centre of Amsterdam.

It is one of 184 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Centrum. 29 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.

Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
