Streetart Frankey in Amsterdam Nieuw-West
Still there, as far as we know
Based on a photograph of the goalkeeper André Onana, this work depicts a keeper at work. The Cameroonian spent seven and a half years at Ajax, winning three Eredivisie titles and reaching the 2017 Europa League final, before moving on to Inter Milan and Manchester United.
Goalkeeper (Andre Onana) is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Slotermeerlaan, in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
It is one of 22 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Nieuw-West. No other known works are within a short walk, so this one is worth a trip of its own.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
