Streetart Frankey in the centre of Amsterdam
Inside the Rosewood Amsterdam hotel
Still there, as far as we know
Inside Rosewood Amsterdam
Small bronze hands hold up the coat hooks in this practical piece inside the Rosewood Amsterdam hotel. The title plays on the double meaning of hold up: supporting something, and a robbery. The hotel opened in 2025 in the former Palace of Justice.
Hold Up is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Rosewood Amsterdam, in the centre of Amsterdam.
It is one of 184 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Centrum. 75 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.
This work is not on the street: it is inside Rosewood Amsterdam. Please check with them before you go whether visitors can see it.
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
