Streetart Frankey in Amsterdam Nieuw-West
Vlaardingenlaan
Still there, as far as we know
Jafar, the scheming grand vizier from Disney's 1992 animated film Aladdin, is the subject of this piece. With his snake staff and his parrot Iago, he is one of the best-remembered Disney villains of the 1990s. He was voiced by Jonathan Freeman in the film.
Jafar is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Vlaardingenlaan 45, in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
It is one of 22 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Nieuw-West. 12 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
