Kapitein Brom is the captain from De Bereboot, 'The Bear Boat', a Dutch puppet series for children written by Lo Hartog van Banda. Broadcast in the 1970s, the adventures of Brom and his crew are remembered fondly by a generation of Dutch viewers.
