About Knightrider

KITT, the talking car from Knight Rider, fires up its turbo boost on the Kinkerbrug. The American series, starring David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, ran from 1982 and made the black Pontiac Trans Am with its scanning red light famous around the world.

Knightrider is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Kinkerbrug, in Amsterdam West.

It is one of 111 Streetart Frankey works on our map in West. 31 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.

Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
