Streetart Frankey in Amsterdam Zuidoost
Still there, as far as we know
Louis stands on the roof above the main entrance of Amsterdam UMC's AMC location, made for Emma Children's Hospital. Big and strong yet soft and rounded, he wears socks, slippers and Frankey's red beanie, and holds a golden heart-shaped clock with a smiley instead of hands. It illustrates Emma's mission of giving children more time for childhood.
Louis is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Meibergdreef, in Amsterdam Zuidoost. It appeared in 2026.
It is one of 10 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Zuidoost. No other known works are within a short walk, so this one is worth a trip of its own.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
