About Minion Carl

Minion Carl, one of the cheerful yellow henchmen from the Despicable Me films, appears near the Vondelpark in a work Frankey titled Circus Tent. The Minions first appeared in 2010 and quickly became a worldwide phenomenon, known for their gibberish language and love of bananas.

Minion Carl is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Reyer Anslostraat, in Amsterdam West.

It is one of 111 Streetart Frankey works on our map in West. 75 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.

Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.

Het Parool wrote about this work in its Streetart Frankey column: read the article (in Dutch).
