Streetart Frankey in Amsterdam Noord
Lucky Dragon
Still there, as far as we know
Lucky Dragon now has a permanent home at the STRAAT Museum, the street art museum in a former shipyard warehouse at NDSM. The work began as a childhood dream: a photo of an eight-year-old Frankey holding a giant dragon. He first realised it in Hong Kong before bringing it to Amsterdam in 2026, and visitors can high-five the little Frankey figure.
This Streetart Frankey artwork is on NDSM-Plein, in Amsterdam Noord. It appeared in 2026.
It is one of 32 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Noord. 5 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
Het Parool wrote about this work in its Streetart Frankey column: read the article (in Dutch).
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
