Streetart Frankey in Amsterdam Zuid
Still there, as far as we know
Nils Holgersson, the boy who is shrunk to the size of a thumb and flies across Sweden on the back of a goose, lands in the Vondelpark. His story was written by Selma Lagerlöf, the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, and has been loved by children far beyond Sweden ever since.
Nils Holgersson is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Vondelpark, in Amsterdam Zuid.
It is one of 99 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Zuid. 35 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
