Streetart Frankey in Amsterdam Zuid
Still there, as far as we know
After WorldPride 2026, a life-sized Baloo, the easygoing bear from Disney's The Jungle Book, floats in the pond on the square with a rainbow across his chest. Amsterdam hosted WorldPride and EuroPride that summer, and Frankey's bear is a reminder that freedom, acceptance and making room for one another deserve celebrating all year round.
Pride Baloo is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Museumplein, in Amsterdam Zuid.
It is one of 99 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Zuid. 50 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
