About Rubiks Cube

The Rubik's Cube, the colourful 3D puzzle invented by the Hungarian architect Ernő Rubik in 1974, is the subject of this work. With more than 43 quintillion possible positions, it became one of the best-selling toys of all time in the 1980s.

Rubiks Cube is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Vijzelgracht, in the centre of Amsterdam.

It is one of 184 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Centrum. 58 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.

Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
