Streetart Frankey in the centre of Amsterdam
Ready for a cannonball into the Damrak
Still there, as far as we know
Summer at the Stock Market is a playful scene at the Beurs van Berlage, the former stock exchange designed by Hendrik Petrus Berlage and completed in 1903. Here a figure seems ready to take a cannonball dive into the Damrak, bringing a holiday mood to a building once devoted to serious business.
Summer At The Stock Market is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Oudebrugsteeg, in the centre of Amsterdam.
It is one of 184 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Centrum. 18 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
Het Parool wrote about this work in its Streetart Frankey column: read the article (in Dutch).
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
