Streetart Frankey in the centre of Amsterdam
Still there, as far as we know
Tom and Jerry, the cat and mouse who have been chasing each other through cartoons since 1940, appear here in miniature. Created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the pair won seven Academy Awards and remain one of the best-known double acts in animation.
Tom & Jerry is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Koggestraat, in the centre of Amsterdam.
It is one of 184 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Centrum. 24 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
