Streetart Frankey in Amsterdam Noord
Still there, as far as we know
WALL-E, the lonely little robot from Pixar's 2008 film, is at work in Amsterdam Noord. Left behind to clean up a deserted, rubbish-covered Earth, he became one of Pixar's most touching characters. Frankey shared this work when announcing the Streetart Frankey documentary by director Peter Wingender, produced by Smarthouse with AVROTROS, which reached Dutch cinemas in April 2026.
Wall-E is a Streetart Frankey artwork on Ms. van Riemsdijkweg, in Amsterdam Noord.
It is one of 32 Streetart Frankey works on our map in Noord. 5 other works are still in place within about ten minutes on foot, so this one is easy to combine with a short Frankey walk.
Frankey's pieces are small and easy to walk past. Once you reach the spot, look up and around: at drainpipes, street signs, bollards and window ledges. If you visit and the work has gone, please tap Gone on its card on the map, so we can keep the map up to date for everyone.
Het Parool wrote about this work in its Streetart Frankey column: read the article (in Dutch).
Our guides know where Frankey's pieces hide. Ask us for a private street art walking tour and we will build the route around the art, Frankey's work very much included.
