Our tour includes tickets to the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen exhibition. When you will enter the Philips Wing there are many artistic treasures to discover from the museum’s extensive collection. The theme of the exhibition is ‘a journey into human existence through art‘.

Unfortunately, it is not permitted for guides to tour within the exhibition.

However, we will provide you with tickets and assist your smooth entry into the exhibition. Once inside you will then take a self-guided tour through artworks on display.

This unique exhibition is occurring due to the renovation of the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. Many of the pieces on display have previously never left the museum.

Discover The Tower of Babel by Bruegel, Two Girls Near an Apple Tree by Munch and many more incredible pieces of art

As you make your way around the exhibition, you will discover famous pieces such as Pieter Bruegel’s The Tower of Babel. A painting heavy with symbolism and social commentary regarding man’s ego and ambition.

There’s also La Petite Danseuse de Quatorze Ans by Edgar Degas,  a sculpture so faithful to reality, that it caused a scandal at the 1881 Impressionist Exhibition.

Amongst the collection are works by Picasso, Munch, Rubens and Dali. It truly is an art collection with something for everyone. From the medieval paintings of Bosch and Bruegel, to the impressionists Monet and Van Gogh to the surrealist work of Dali.

Together with your guide, you will take a 2-hour guided tour of the Rijksmuseum. The highlight of this tour is the Gallery of Honour where you will find Rembrandt, Steen and Vermeer. The Nightwatch is very much the star of this gallery, but there are many more paintings for you to discover.
