On a private tour the guide works only for your group, the route is flexible, and you can adjust plans on the day. Private tours generally cost more per person than large group tours, but for small groups, couples or families the difference is often modest.

Private tours start from around 500 euros for a half day, while full-day tours across the Netherlands and Belgium, including private transport, are priced from around 1,000 euros. The exact price depends on the tour, its length, your group size and any extras such as entrance tickets. We always confirm a fixed price before you book.

Our guides work in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese. If you need a guide in another language, let us know and we will do our best to arrange this. All guides are vetted for both language fluency and local knowledge, and most have backgrounds in art history, cultural heritage or related fields.

Private tours work well for individuals, couples, families and small groups. For walking tours we recommend a maximum of twelve people to keep the experience comfortable and ensure everyone can hear the guide clearly. For larger groups we can arrange multiple guides working in parallel, or switch to a format such as a private boat tour that accommodates more people naturally.

We do our best to accommodate late bookings. Subject to guide availability, we can often arrange tours with as little as 24 to 48 hours notice. For peak periods such as tulip season, summer weekends and public holidays, earlier booking is strongly recommended.
