Lots of walking but worth it It was pouring rain on our tour but with the guide's help it was interesting and enjoyable. You will walk A LOT but see the neighborhood canals and buildings.

Ann Frank Virtual Tour much more than just Virtual - excellent! Ashton was incredible and brought the story and life of Ann Frank to life on our tour. I thought I know the story but this tour shows you so much more. You start by walking through Amsterdam and up the canals learning about the Netherlands resistance to Nazi’s as well as their failings. Eventually you get to a cafe where you do a viral tour of the Frank’s hiding space while being but a block from their actual home and just a few minutes from what was once the Nazi SS headquarter. Maybe it was just how good Ashton was but this was tremendous.

Beautiful Experience in a Beautiful City! We were lucky enough to choose this company for a private canal tour during the height of tulip season and the Vermeer exhibit. Wow!!! it it did not disappoint! In fact, it was one of the best private tours we have ever taken within the 30 countries we have traveled to. Arranging the tour was so simple. They give you a quote directly on the website based on your number of people and time you prefer. Select the tour and that's it! Show up and have an amazing time!We were blessed with Jan as our tour guide. He could not have been better or more fun. He tailored our trip to what we were looking for and gave us as much information as we wanted without being intrusive or inundating us with too much history. He is a treasure and an asset to this company. The people in the reception area were very hospitable as well. It shows you how good a company is when the people that work there and deal with customers all day are still happy for a 5pm tour. This is tour that cannot be beat!

The only tour you need in Amsterdam This was the best and most memorable part of our trip to Amsterdam, and much more than just a beer tour! Rachael is an amazing host, had recommendations for everything we wanted, and brought us to places that we'd never would have found on our own. Highly recommend this tour: you'll explore and learn about the city with an amazing guide, make a new friend, and have beer all along the way. P.S. Our group also did a canal tour and a food tour -- Rachael and the Brews & Tales tour surpassed all of them.

Great! As an amsterdam native I was not expecting much. But i learned a lot of new things abiut my city and his history. Tbe canal cruise and cheese tasting weresuper fun. I can recomend this tour to everyone!

Loved it! I had such a great time on the "Cruise the Canals & Taste the Jordaan". Vince and Stephan are hilarious and kept me laughing the whole time, and even as a local I learned and saw a lot of new things. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Jewish tour and Anne Frank House We were looking forward to going to the Anne Frank Museum, but found that it was so heavily booked, that we couldn’t have fitted it in before we left Amsterdam. A lovely couple on another experience (the early morning canal cruise with Captain Dave - we highly recommend) gave us a link to this experience with Stephan or Vince and it turned out to be perfect. The experience included a walk through the original Jewish area of Amsterdam and our tour guide, Vince, was extremely knowledgeable, taking us on a wonderful 2.5 hour journey before escorting us to the Anne Frank Museum, where were were virtually next in line. We are so happy that we found this tour and can highly recommend it.

Perfect way to spend an afternoon We had a great time on this tour! We tried several delicious beers and it was perfect to get out on the canals on a beautiful sunny day. Our host was very informative and fun and we also really enjoyed mingling with the other guests. A great way to spend the afternoon!

Hidden Gems Tour This tour was the highlight of our two day trip. Stephan gave us a tour that really highlighted the precious spots of Amsterdam's canals and the outer regions(the west and north parts of town) that we would have missed had we not taken this tour. He's knowledgeable and easy-going, not an overbearing or continuously yammering guide. This tour felt like we were cruising along with a local and sharing in his favourites parts of the city.

Great Tour and Tour Guide Great experience. This was an excellent way to see the canals and sample a wide variety of local craft beers. Stephan is a great guide.

See Amsterdam's hidden gems by bike We absolutely loved this experience!!! Stephan’s tour partner Sarah ran this tour and was an absolute trooper! It was her first bike tour for Stephan and she was totally incredible.It rained the entire time but there were smiles all round for the whole tour. Sarah was super bubbly and informative. It felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. Sarah made sure to ensure we were as comfortable as possible despite the poor weather. We took additional stops at hidden bars to warm up. I was a little nervous to brave the streets of Amsterdam on a bike (If you've visited you will know why!) but there was nothing to worry about. We started the tour away from the canals in a large park so it was easy to get comfortable on the bike before we head towards the canals. Sarah showed us places I would never know to explore on my own. With six people on this tour it was personal and a real fun time. On reflection I wish we had more time in Amsterdam to take more tours with Sarah and Stephan. We finished the evening with drinks at a sweet brewery and ended up hanging around for dinner with some of the tour group. I personally hate huge impersonal tours on coaches full of other tourists and this was the exact opposite. It was perfect. If there is one thing you do in Amsterdam make sure it’s this tour (or another one by Sarah and Stephan). I have some family visiting Amsterdam later this year and have already told them they must get in touch with Sarah and Stephan.
