Booking a ‘guide for the day’ allows you the flexibility to completely tailor your tour to suit your needs. You can combine tours or even several locations. How about a walking and cycling tour that explores the city in several ways? Or perhaps you are a museum lover and want to see some lesser known treasures of the city? It really is up to you how you spend your day.
We will pair you with a guide who matches your requirements and touring style. All you have to do is let us, and the guide know what you would like to see and do during the tour.

From four hours. Most guests take a full day, and longer days can be arranged. Because it is private, you decide when to start and when to finish.
No. You can spend the day in Amsterdam, in another Dutch city, or out in the countryside, and you can combine more than one place in a single day.
Yes. A morning on foot through the canal belt and an afternoon on bikes is a common request, and so is a day built around the lesser known museums. Tell us what appeals and the guide will make it work.
We match you rather than assign you. Tell us your interests, your pace and who is coming, and we pair you with the guide whose knowledge and personality fit the day you have described.
We collect you from your hotel, apartment or cruise terminal, so there is no meeting point to find.
Yes. As a private tour we tailor the route, pace and distance to you. The historic city centres are compact and mostly flat, though the streets are often cobbled with the occasional bridge or step. On request we plan a largely step-free route, and we can arrange accessible transport or a wheelchair (arranged per booking). Tell us what you need when you enquire and we will plan around it.
