The second half of the day is spent visiting the windmills of Zaanse Schans. Together with your private guide, you explore the sights and learn about the history of this enchanting place. You will visit a traditional clog workshop where you will learn the ins and outs of clog-making.
Next is a visit to the cheese farm where you find out how real Dutch cheeses are made. Of course, we do not leave before tasting them for ourselves.
To give you some insight into modern-day technology, we go to one of the operational industrial windmills. Here you will experience the power of the wind while enjoying the view of the stunning surroundings from the balcony of a windmill.

This tour is available during the Dutch tulip season from March to May. Mid-April is usually the peak period, but the exact bloom depends on the weather each year.
Ask for an alternative with gardens and flowers (roses, dahlias) in other parts of the year.
This is a fully private tour. You will have your own guide and vehicle, and the itinerary is tailored to your interests and pace.
The tour includes private transport, hotel pickup and drop-off in Amsterdam, a private guide, entrance tickets to Keukenhof, and visits to Zaanse Schans. Some snacks and water will be in the car, lunch is is not included unless arranged in advance.
